Though it's kind of late but finally I got my hands playing Grand Theft Auto : Chinatown Wars on my PSP.
At first glance, I thought I'd be playing some GTA series designed for kids. Don't get me wrong, the game was at first released on Nintendo DS and I'm quite vocal about that platform as the tamer-type built for kids and women. GTA series are well known as pure mature-rated game with its violence and bloods story plot.

Here the story begins as Huang Lee, son of a powerful Triad boss, arrived in Liberty City aboard a private jet. He carries the sword previously owned by his murdered father to be presented to his Uncle Wu "Kenny" Lee. Kenny is about to give the sword to his own Liberty City-based Triad boss as a gift, a token which could lead him to be the successor. And there goes the story.
Almost been assassinated and the sword was stolen, Huang Lee will need to do some work to his uncle and to other dark personalities both for the sake of family businesses and to claim back the stolen sword. His missions will greatly affect their standing on the ever-growing competition to control Liberty City.

As you manage your way on the game, you'll be surprised on how the plots are delivered. Missions will now be forwarded to you via your PDA. You'll be getting a lot of emails from everyone who wants to hire you, make allegiance, kill you, do some deals with you, offer their goods and services or let's just simplify those phrases, do business with you.

GPS were also installed on your PDA for mission routes. Though its impossible to follow the tracks but it automatically adjust its calculation as you find your way until you reach your target.
Lot of mini-games for you to complete which involves stuff such as making Molotov, carjacking, drug dealing.
You'll be participating in a full of sarcastic yet humorous conversations as you go along. While driving around is a little bit odd but you'll get used to it once you establish a connection to the game as the the action can be viewed on the above perspective. Heck, it's fun actually to roam around in different cars, trucks, vans, motorcycle and even in boats, helicopters and jet ski.

My verdict : The new GTA:Chinatown Wars is a must have game. It offers a fresh and enticing whole new experience of GTA games.
